Design
Here are my artistic samples. I enjoy visual art along with written art and I want to showcase it here as well. These artistic samples include mock ad designs, photoshoot conception and direction, and document design projects. Here I hope to convey my artistic eye.

Pearly Beauty Mock Ad
This is a beauty ad for a mock company Pearly Beauty. It could be used for digital or print. I enjoy playing around with designs and try new things out. Pearly beauty is meant to have an elegant and stylish essence. The grayscale, granite background, iridescent font, image, and copy all attest to the character of the ad.

Refresh Your Breath Campaign Ad Posters
Discussed in my creative writing tab, to spread the word of my Covid memorial campaign I made simple yet encouraging posters. In the memorial essay, it focuses on how people can forget the blessing of a breath. Though it's automatic and easy for us to forget, it's still something that should be appreciated and not forgotten. These messages are reminders placed in frequently stopped areas such as crosswalk lights and train stations reminding people to pause and take a breath. I used Canva to design these.

Chimera Photoshoot
This photo is from the Chimera photoshoot for "The New" magazine's 13th issue. As a part of the creative team I was tasked with this photoshoot start to finish. After getting the concept of Chimera, a fire-breathing mythical beast with a lion front, goat middle, and snake back, I knew I need four models to represent each aspect in a unique way. Through Pinterest, I planned outfits, makeup, hair, location, posing, and camera direction. On the site of the shoot, I was the sole director working with the photographers to get some solo shots and group shots of our models coming together to represent the Chimera. I wanted to flip the negative Chimera narrative and instead of a combo of dangerous beasts it’s a harmony between powerful creatures.

Odd One Out Photoshoot
This photo is from the Odd One Out photoshoot for "The New" magazine's 12 issue. Since this was an idea I came up with, our creative director looked to me to help flesh out details and direct the shoot. I wanted a group of people to be simple and almost robotic surrounding a colorful, graceful, and eye-catching model who thrives in the spotlight. She doesn't mind to take up space and make her presence known. Flipping the narrative and showing there is beauty in being the odd one out. These photoshoots urged me to be more assertive and take initiative to see my imagination executed properly.

Data Visualization
This is a data visualization design from my "Document design" class. We were tasked with recording some type of data that we can put into some kind of graph, chart, or etc. I used Canva to design this and make something interesting and captivating that also included all the found data. My main challenge was finding a color palate that would suit the design but after trying many types I found something that felt cohesive while still providing color variety.

Quote Design
This is another sample from the "Document design" class. I chose a quote and constructed a design with Canva that showcased and matched the quote. I used a lyric from the girl group Twice's "Moonlight Sunrise". It's a love song, so I knew I had to make soft and romantic design choices. Hence the gradient background resembling a night and day contrast, rounded and iridescent font, and diagonal text placement. I loved this work because I feel every element brings that soft romantic feeling to the design.
