Here are my short form copy samples. These writing samples include social media copy such as captions published during my content writing internship and during my role as executive producer of Real Talk. Here I hope to convey a concise yet personable voice.

Horn Entrepreneurship LinkedIn and Twitter

As a content writing intern for the Horn Entrepreneurship program, this sample is a couple of posts I drafted captions to. I'm primarily assigned to LinkedIn and there is a certain protocol when it comes to posting on there for Horn. When hired, I was taught the voice of our different platforms and had to continually work on maintaining the preferred professional voice I was tasked with. This work was a great way for me to build the skill of tone versatility. I focused on providing a positive, professional, and welcoming tone when posting on LinkedIn and occasionally Twitter.

Real Talk Instagram

As an executive producer for the Student Television Network channel, Real Talk, this sample is a couple of posts I've captioned for our Instagram page. We typically post content about our upcoming shows and events. The tone on this page is different from the other set of samples above. Since I'm in charge of the account, I'm not given a certain tone to write with but I know what the purpose is and who the audience of the caption is. Informing our college student peers and gaining viewers. My main effort is to keep things short and sweet. Giving the information people need along with the graphic while also adding some flare and humor.
